WallArt’s 3D wall panelling adds an eco-friendly dimension to your space.
Rows of ribbons interlace with a wall; puffed up kites settle behind a mantle; blocks align in perfect symmetry against a vertical plane...Dutch brand WallArt’s collection of 3D wall panels is a visual delight that is sure to elicit a tactile response from onlookers. Looking at the smooth, sculptural forms of these wallcoverings, you’d never guess that their base material is bagasse, the fibrous residue of sugarcane! “Bagasse is one of the world’s most renewable sources because sugarcane can be harvested up to three times a year. The total harvest worldwide is more than 1.2 billion metric tons yearly and out of each three ton of sugarcane there remains one ton of bagasse,” the company explains.
A 100 per cent recycled and compostable raw material, makes these wall panels biodegradable. Pioneers in the eco panelling segment, WallArt presented their first line of 3D wall coverings in Europe earlier this year. Presently, the panels are available in 12 models — Waves, Kites, Craters, Splashes and Bricks, to name a few. Now if only they came in colour variants!
