Calm texture, less echo
Botany is based on dried grasses. Dense vertical strokes in a warm tone are crossed by two broad curves that run diagonally across the panel. It looks a bit like a reed bed or a dune ridge.
The edges of the strokes are slightly frayed, which matches the fibres of the felt. The design uses two shades of one warm colour, so it adds texture to a room without standing out too much. It fits well in Japandi and warm minimalist interiors, next to light oak, linen and woven rugs, and works on a large empty wall above a sofa or sideboard.
The felt absorbs sound, which helps in rooms with hard floors, plastered walls and large windows, such as living rooms, offices, hallways and waiting rooms.
Styling tip: hang two panels side by side. The curve continues across both, so together they form one wide landscape.
